I came into this album with rather high expectations and a strange history with the band. I distinctly remember hearing a single of theirs (I believe it was overnight? Not 100% on that...) and wanting to hear more but being disappointed that they didn't have a full release yet. Luckily enough they twirled back into my radar via YouTube recommendations, and this has to be my favorite surprise of the year. So glad that they have amped up the funkiness of their sound, the bass playing is absolutely spectacular. While I've never found myself to be a particularly huge fan of their vocal style on any sort of music, it does work well to counteract some of the sheer groove on the album (yes, there is such a thing as too much groove). Overall, I would consider the parcels a worth peer of other nu-disco acts such as TWRP. Hopefully they can keep up the cracking pace.
