Tango in the Night is the fourteenth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 13 April 1987. It is the fifth and final studio album from the band's most successful lineup of Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks following Buckingham's departure later that year, though the band's 2003 album, Say You Will, includes limited contributions from Christine.

Produced by Buckingham with Richard Dashut, Tango in the Night began as one of Buckingham's solo projects, but by 1985, the production had morphed into Fleetwood Mac's next record. It contains several hit singles, including four US top 20 hits: "Big Love" (No. 5), "Seven Wonders" (No. 19), "Little Lies" (No. 4), and "Everywhere" (No. 14). Two additional songs, "Family Man" (No. 90) and "Isn't It Midnight", were released as singles to lower chart success. Tango in the Night has sold over 15 million copies worldwide.

The cover art for the album is a painting by Australian artist Brett-Livingstone Strong that was hanging in Buckingham's home. The painting is an homage to the 19th-century French painter Henri Rousseau, emulating his colourful jungle theme works such as The Snake Charmer and The Repast of the Lion. The painting was also used as the cover art for "Big Love", the album's lead single.

Y'know, I've always loved Fleetwood Mac, and the song "Big Love" yet I'd never ventured into this album. I mean it's pretty late in the game, but with a single as great as "Big Love" and with Kronz's recommendation how could I say no? I was a little surprised to find two others I knew and really liked on here too, "Seven Wonders", and "Little Lies", I didn't realize they were so late in their career. Really excellent songs though, and "Everywhere" is another that I'd totally forgotten about but I think it's pretty darned good too. "Caroline" was pretty neat with the heavy drum line balanced by the delicate guitar work, it's the sort of thing I find myself humming after. It's not all whip cream and cherries though, "Tango In The Night", "Family Man", and "Mystified" didn't do much for me at all, very forgettable. "Welcome to the Room...Sara" a continuation of "Sara" leaves something to be desired, I mean what were they thinking? So it's not all charmed, but most of it is really much better than I ever would have thought, and I'm really glad it reminded me of a few of their hits I'd entirely forgotten about. I think fans should be happy with this, and well it's nice to see that they did update their sound and yet it still sounds exactly like they should.
