I’ve known about the AM for a while and I just didn’t get into their music for some reason. Not that their previous albums were bad, they just didn’t find their way into my go to set of songs to play. Being a Black Keys fan, I totally enjoyed this album by Arctic Monkeys, it rocks and gets bluesy at times. It’s kinda of like when REM came out with the album Monster in the ‘90s. Up until that album, I liked REM and a lot of their songs; however, they didn’t have an album I would just sit and listen to all the time. Then when Monster came out, it became one of my favorite go-to albums. It was experimental on their part, and to me it was perfect. This album from Arctic Monkeys may not be quite as experimental on their part, but it is one of their first albums that finally stuck with me.
