An exclusive limited 30th anniversary edition colour LP featuring Rory Gallagher's BBC John Peel Sunday concert in 1971. William Rory Gallagher (2 March 1948 – 14 June 1995) was an Irish blues and rock multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and bandleader. Born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, and brought up in Cork, Gallagher recorded solo albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, after forming the band Taste in 1966. He was a talented guitarist known for his charismatic performances and dedication to his craft. Gallagher's albums have sold in excess of 30 million copies worldwide.

 Limited edition translucent orange vinyl.

Excellent previously unreleased limited edition 1971 BBC John Peel Sunday Concert, mastered at Abbey Road Studios featuring live versions of tracks from Rory's first two solo albums with Rory on vocals and guitar, Gerry McAvoy, bass and Wilgar Campbell, drums, presented by Alan Black and not John Peel. Note: Final track "It Takes Time" is a song that isn't on the studio albums but features on the CD reissue of "Rory Gallagher". I've heard that coloured vinyl (orange?) doesn't play as well as black vinyl but on my system it sounds great. Pack includes a digital Sound Of Vinyl download code. Daniel Gallagher and team are doing a fine job caring for and presenting Rory's legacy, if only others were as particular in their presentation. Bought from Momox and very happy.
