Greatest Hits compilation from The Offspring available for the first time on vinyl. Originally released in 2005, these 14 tracks include hits like “Original Prankster”, “Want You Bad” & more on Aqua Blue vinyl with foil board cover.

This compilation, like most, was not made for die-hard fans. This is, instead, a representative sample of the songs that put the band on the map. While not representative of the band's entire line of work (since every one of their singles tended to be more poppy and less experimental than the often-risky songs that they put on the albums), for the simple purpose of exposing newcomers to their most well-known singles, it works well; all of The Offspring's biggest hits are here, as well as two new songs, "Can't Repeat" (which sounds a bit too much like "The Kids Aren't Alright") and an energetic, fun cover of "Next to You" by The Police.

It only really works well for two purposes: introducing new fans to the diverse singles discography of one of the most successful punk bands of the 90s, and just putting all of the most well-known songs that the band released all on one disc. Other than that, fans should definitely not get it, but newcomers should, if only to be exposed to the incredible band that The Offspring was. Maybe it will inspire them to venture past these singles and look at some of the non-single gems on the individual albums.
