Now when I think of albums that are absolutely perfect this one always comes to mind. I think nearly every song has taken a turn as being my favorite at one time or another and it never gets stale no matter how many times I listen to it. Heck just thinking about it, I want to listen to it right now even, it's addictive big time. I actually paid no attention to the album until heard Hole covering "Gold Dust Woman" of all things. When I heard the original, I was in love and also I knew "Dreams", and "Go Your Own Way" from the radio so I knew and adored them as well. Currently I'd probably pick "Never Going Back Again" or "The Chain" as my current favorites but I truly do enjoy every last minute and note of this album. The songs are so well crafted not to mention the detailed musicianship, Lindsey Buckingham's guitar work is breathtaking. Despite the fact that it's a rock album, the songs are so pop oriented that I think anyone should be able to fall madly for it, and likely that's why this is considered by many to be one of the best albums of all time. The circumstances surrounding this are rather unusual as both couples had broken up and nobody else in the band was really aware of this. Perhaps the turmoil helped them make this such a heartfelt sounding album. Whatever happened this is pure magic and I doubt there will ever another album quite like this one.
